good morning good afternoon good evening whatever time of day it is for you welcome to the morning I too I'm glad you found us this is Kerri Green I'm your host your morning mine to every day we're going to get your mind aligned to the truth of God's word by walking through a passage of scripture together and orienting our minds around the truth that it describes for us we're going to do that in just a moment from Psalm 6 verse number 11 this is one of my favorite of all the songs out of 150 chapters this is one of my favorite verses but before we dive into it I was just thinking about the holidays coming up and many people kind of scramble to find good gifts to give to people that are just not the same old same old war I wanted to point you to a resource that perhaps would fit that description for you we have a section on my way to take Carrie Green.com books that's exactly what it sounds like it's all the books that I've written there's a children's picture book there's a fiction Trilogy there's a number of Christian growth

 okay as we dive back into our study or enjoy give me looking at psalm 16 verse 11 but I want to ask you first of all where do you typically find the most pleasure in your life is it in your children crash your spouse is it in some Xavier activity that you do and you just love is in some kind of food I mean let's be honest with ourselves at least they're in the quiet of your own heart think about the real answer to this where do you find your pleasure where do you find your sense of delight Psalm 16:11 point out to us that there is a superior place from which we can find a light and enjoyment and even the word Pleasures is in this first two let's read it together and let's think about it as David speaks to God he says you make known to me the path of life
 and you are presence there is fullness of joy and your right hand are Pleasures forevermore you can see why I'm asking you that question about where you find your pleasure in life David says the Lord himself makes known to his people with David calls the path of life the way to live that leads to True Life it leads to Abundant Life is Jesus described it and what is that place what's that destination we're headed toward Will David says In God's Presence there is fullness of joy man that sounds like a bunch of life to me doesn't it to you. I'm joy and all the joy we can have exist in the presence of God he is our joy. He is the ever joyful God and being in his presence I can only imagine at this point in my life because I haven't actually stepped into his
 present in in reality yet but once I die and I hit Heaven I know I'm going to move into his presence and I'm just going to be overwhelmed with this incredible sense of joy and who he is in his completeness and his sufficiency and his power and his majesty and his kindness and his love is all just going to overwhelm mean it's going to Bubble Up enjoy and that's what Dave is describing force and he says that God's right hand are Pleasures forever more so friends think about those Pleasures I asked you about earlier don't usually Wayne overtime don't they lose their luster and their appeal after a while
 you may enjoy it and you get a a big jolt out of it but then after awhile you got to do it more or do it again or add something to it to make it have that same joke that you got before but David Chang at God's right hand are Pleasures that are never going to stop their Pleasures forevermore and it's all in the presence of God reference here's the good news we don't have to wait until that day we die in heaven to experience this week and began experiencing Abundant Life now through our relationship with Jesus Christ it's in connection with Jesus we are allowed into the throne room of God to be one with the father and to fellowship with him so friends let's make it our ambition today to pursue the father to strive to be in his presence in her heart in her mind to calm ourselves of every fear and doubt and to rest knowing our God invites us into his presence in there we will find full
 look at open our eyes to see this reality in a way that we have not seen it before and they blessed to know what we can do to put ourselves in that place where we more easily can recognize your prayers and we can enjoy being with you before I love joy and it begin to experience those Pleasures forevermore that come from being seated at your right hand alongside Jesus Christ and I hope to endure that we may experience your joy in this life
