 God I confess that it's tempting to read a first like this and try to apply it in PD at least my life
 teach me instead to read scripture as pointing to you
 train me to look for your character and your attributes on every page
 alright. I want you to become more precious to me as I read and pray scripture
 suppose now and express your neediness to God and facing your sins and your need for his forgiveness and Grace in your life
 seek is stillness
 take a few moments now to reflect on what God is revealing to you about himself through this passage and be quiet as you become aware of his very presence with you this very moment
 trust his faithfulness
 heavenly father just as you are faithful to your promise to Abraham Isaac and Jacob so you are faithful to your Covenant promise to us and Christ Jesus never once have you turned away from those who belong to you and you're not going to start now
 so I choose to trust and rest when you today
 take time now to declare your trust in God's faithfulness that he is who he said he is and he will do what he said he will do in the world and in your life 2
